The Not-ready-for-prime-time website

All,
As you may have noticed, things are looking a little different. I’ve made the switch from Blogger to Wordpress. This should, once I get everything set up, be a big improvement. But at the moment, everything will probably be buggy over the next few weeks. If you see anything that looks odd, please let me know ASAP via e-mail. Otherwise, I’ll try my best to keep everything moving along smoothly during this transition. I wanted to make the transition at month-end for archival purposes, so I apologize for any inconvenience.

The “archive” links at the right lead you to the old site (at least up until the April link). Likewise, if you’ve permalinked a post, like shown here, it provides a link that mentions that the old site is no longer updated. The new link for the old site is now http://www.unrepentantindividual.com/old/.

Thanks for your continued patience, I’ll do my best to keep up with writing during construction.

  1. Wow! Brad, you’ve done a helluva job bringing the template over from Blogger.

  2. Thanks, Quincy… I can be pretty particular about making something look just the way I want, so it’s taken some time. Now it’s time to start looking for some of the plug-ins (like your auto-preview) and making the more basic tweaks to get the operation of the site working perfectly.

BTW for everyone, if you’re using 800×600 resolution, you’re probably out of luck. Get some glasses and crank it up to 1024×768 or higher. There’s only so much I can do to fit what I want onto the page.

  4. Brad –

Now that you have more posts up, you might consider putting some space between the bottom of one post and the top of another. Other than that, it looks great.

  5. D’OH!

Good point. Maybe I should delimit with a horizontal line, or maybe another border as well… I’ll have to work on this :-)
