As I said above, the Souter post I submitted doesn't have much original content. So, I'm thinking that this Kelo-related post would make a meatier Carnival entry:

Don't count on conservatives

It's a fairly substantial rant against the pro-Kelo arguments of Carl Frank (No Oil for Pacifists), who represents the "judicial restraint" point of view that's pretty common among conservatives.

If someone has a better post about the Souter home story, forget mine.

Last night, Eric suggested that someone submit a post to the Carnival about this wonderful news story out of New Hampshire. So here's my post on the subject:

Developer seeks Souter home

Not much commentary from me, but the story is just priceless as it is.

Eric,
I may add a post in there if I actually write something meaningful this week (the mother-in-law is in town, so I might be a little busy). But obviously, I wouldn't consider my post as an entry for top honors :-)

Quincy,
I'm saving that post for next week :-)

Actually, Brad, I'll submit your "Peak Liberty" post, which really deserves a place in this carnival.

Well, you can, and should, include your own posts. But, if you are going to have best post awards it would kind of smell if your post won.

I'm looking forward to the first ever Carnival of Liberty!
