I ordered an some accessories for my iPod the same day from Amazon and they tranisted from AZ to CA over the Christmas weekend via USPS, so this might be worth looking into soon.

(Note: I did not trust said iPod to the USPS. Ordered it on the 21st and recieved it via UPS on the 23rd.)
