This Is a Bad Sign
When you walk in to your hotel, and behind the bulletproof glass in the check-in area, you see this sign, it’s a signal you’re not in a very nice neighborhood…

Out of curiosity, where exactly are you staying?
(Not in D.C. proper I hope, although the bulletproof glass does trouble me somewhat.)
Silver Spring, MD. Not too far north of DC proper.
But, I’ve made it back home safe and sound, so it’s all good.
