Will Wilkinson on Health Care
I’m swamped today, so I don’t have much time to post… Go read Will Wilkinson’s post, though, on how to fix the health care mess in this country.
He takes aim at the meme on the left that the “free market” in health care is a failure, because he recognizes that we don’t have anything approaching a free market now. Go and read. When Hillary gets elected and institutes socialized health care, to the detriment of us all, we can look back at this and ask why we couldn’t make the country listen…

“When Hillary gets elected”
Thunder just clapped outside my window and my skin has gone cold.
Brad, interesting link. Notice the word fantasia in the title? That’s exactly what it is, a fantasy story. You really want your wife to drive you to Harry’s Heart & Lungs, when you start having chest pains in 25 years? No? Come on, he’s got a certificate from DeVry.
Alright Jim, call my bluff. Let’s see what happens. You can head to the Mayo Clinic when you need to get a broken bone set, I’ll head to someone who specializes in broken bones. At the end of the day, we’ll probably get equal service, and my set will cost $300, while yours will cost $7500.
I realize you are generally a fan of markets in other things, but why do you have such a difficult time accepting that a market will actually work if we allow it?
