Headed to Boston
Headed out for a tradeshow. Normally that would mean I’ll have down time in a hotel, but not this week. The wife realized that she had a free hotel in Boston, one of her favorite cities, and that she had all sorts of frequent flier miles available. So she’s heading out with me. That means when I’m not doing show-related work, I’ll be doing the tourism bit with her, and probably won’t be able to post much at all. I’ll schedule a Purdue post for Tuesday, but don’t be surprised if I’m not responding to comments.

Next to Chicago (or maybe even, dare I say… above Chicago?) is Boston on my “list of US cities where I would live the rest of my life”.
If you don’t visit the Samuel Adams brewery while you are there, I’ll disown you as a friend. No, not really, but I will point and laugh. And hold it over your head forever.
Other things to see: Duck tour was nice, but you can (and we did) just walk completely around the city. The public transportation is brilliant.
The holocaust memorial is incredible and moving, and very unexpected in a city known much more for its Irish immigrants.
Finally, I demand more Purdue content! We had a blast at homecoming.
Have a good trip Brad. Enjoy your time with your wife and visit some of the historic spots.
