I really dig the &quot;music genome&quot;/algorithm side of it, as everything it&#039;s put up (so far) has made perfect sense to me...I just had never really put two and two together as to why a relatively difference mix of bands would make sense to be put together.

Right now I&#039;ve got it riffing off of Red Hot Chili Peppers and have yet to be disappointed.</description>

I&#039;ll tell you where I&#039;ve found this most useful, Brad - there are genres of music where I can&#039;t stand to listen to the radio, but I like many of the songs.  I can&#039;t think of any genre that I completely dislike, by the way.  But in some (e.g. hip hop or country) the radio kills me because a song I like will be followed by a song I really can&#039;t stand to listen to.  I&#039;ll change the station and lose the exposure to the genre.

So Pandora has been great for exploring those genres... for example, I love my Us3 station.  Plus that Jamiroquai station I mentioned in my post at AtlasBlogged.  What a fantastic site.</description>
